My child is not going to school, can I bring them in myself?
No, only children who are currently in need of a school space due to them not being able to be cared for safely at home because you are working are allowed to come to after school club. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
Why is the Easter holiday being cancelled?
Because many schools are expected to stay open over the Easter holiday, and so our holiday club service will not be required by the vast majority, if your child’s school is not staying open, speak to them about temporarily sending your child to an alternative school or setting over the Easter holiday.
My child has a temperature but no cough, can I send them in?
No, you must not send them in as they may be carriers of the virus. All children coming to club will have their temperatures taken and if they have a high temperature (37.8c or above) then they will be kept separate from the other children and you will be asked to collect them as soon as possible.
Anyone with a new cough or a temperature should stay at home and contact the 111 coronavirus service.
